Life in AU

Australia is the perfect country for those who love to enjoy life but at the same time, want to live in an efficient and cutting-edge country. Known for its easy-going lifestyle, Australia combines the efficiency and rigor of northern European countries with the joie de vivre and attention to well-being that is typical of southern countries.

The main cities offer all kinds of services, work, and leisure activities in a relaxed and spacious environment (population density is more than sustainable, even in the city). What’s more, towns and cities are often surrounded by the impressive beauty of Australian nature: beautiful beaches, an ocean within reach and boundless spaces and landscapes that look like they’re from another world!

Australia is a country where people from all over the world can experience living in a modern nation. Australia may not have an extensive history like other countries, but it has a bright future.
Today, Australia is considered to have one of the most resilient, high growth economies in the world. Consequently, the standard of living in Australia is considered to be high in comparison to many other countries. Australians have a love affair with the arts, sports and the outdoors. With a temperate climate, beautiful landscape and political and economic stability, Australians really have a quality of life to be envied.
As the state capital of New South Wales, Sydney takes first place as Australia’s oldest, largest and most-populated city.
The experience of a lifetime is waiting for you right here! Sydney stretches all the way from its incredible beaches and coastal walks through the bustling CBD (Central Business District), and then all the way out to the bush land and impressive national parks.
There’s never a shortage of things to do. Sydney has a buzzing art and culture scene, some of the best restaurants, bars and cafes, amazing weather and world-renowned landmarks like the famous Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
Immerse yourself in this amazing culture and become a Sydneysider. The vibe here is one of a kind!
Come study & live in the most liveable city in the world!
This is no exaggeration when we say this – Melbourne held the “the world’s most liveable city” title for seven consecutive years and it’s no secret why!
As the capital of Victoria and the second largest city in the country, Melbourne is a booming metropolis that showcases the best of Australian arts, culture, cuisine and landscapes.

It’s a vibrant mix of hidden city laneways, beautiful beaches and immense street art. Melbourne is also known as the best Australian city for international students to study in.
From soft-sand beaches to a thriving metropolis, Perth is one Australian city that can offer you the best of both worlds.
Western Australia is huge! It is the biggest state in Australia and covers a third of the country. Despite being the capital of the state, Perth has less than two million people living there and is known to be one of the most beautiful cities in Australia.
Perth has a reputation of being the most isolated city in the world, with the closest neighbouring city being Adelaide, over 2,000 kilometres away. However, don’t let this put you off! There are so many perks to living in Perth; when you see its true beauty, you won’t want to leave. If you’re looking for a warm, relaxed lifestyle with a touch of city living then this is definitely the place for you Study and live in one of the most exciting cities in the world!

Brisbane is the perfect place to have the Australian experience of a lifetime! The city is a combination of big-city attractions and the laid-back Aussie lifestyle. Between the huge arts and culture scene, and the outdoor adventures that Brisbane provides, you’ll never want to leave the gorgeous river city
One of the most modern cities in Australia.
Facing north, overlooking the Indian Ocean and enjoying a tropical climate; Darwin is the main point of passage from Australia to Indonesia and Asia. The climate of Darwin, excluding the wet season (December/ January) is warm and pleasant; life and activities of the city take place outdoors and on the beach.
The surrounding nature is impressive; from the long sandy coasts to the endless Kakadu National Park and Litchfield National Park, which attract thousands of tourists during the dry season, from April to September.
Study on the beautiful east coast and experience the real Aussie beach lifestyle
The Gold Coast is over 50 kilometres of beautiful beaches, shopping and cafes, located in the gorgeous Sunshine State of Queensland
Over 300 days of sunshine a year.

The Sunshine Coast is along the coastline, north of Brisbane, completely covered with fine sand, where surfers gather at any time of the year to ride breath-taking waves. To some it will seem a name a little too optimistic (“shining sun coast”), but the Sunshine Coast has, in all respects, an excellent climate: in fact, it can boast over 300 days of sunshine a year.
In this area, surrounded by the rainforest, lies Noosa, a crowded seaside destination for Australians and international tourists. The only beach in Noosa is 17 kilometres long and is the most famous in the area. In addition to basking in the sun, here trekking, sailing, kayaking and surfing are common outdoor activities.
Cairns is located in northern Australia and belongs to the state of Queensland. It faces east directly over the Pacific Ocean and along with Darwin, it is the most populous city in the tropical Australian area.
Living in Cairns means living in an international city, with an airport serving four major Asian airports, road signs translated into two/three languages and a wide variety of ethnic restaurants. In the evening the premises become a real continuous flow of people and the restaurants on the Esplanade offer an infinite variety of dishes based on fish.
Buses easily reach all parts of the city and, thanks to them, the Botanical Garden, located slightly outside the city centre, is easily accessible. The inhabitants of Cairns love outdoor activities; the city offers walking trails and various places where you can train with equipment accessible to all

Where & what to study

Tertiary education here is delivered by a wide range of providers including Universities, Institutes of Technology, Polytechnics, Private Training Establishments and Industry Training Organisations. Education providers offer qualifications at every level - certificates, diplomas, graduate and post-graduate degrees. They are all ranked on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework.
Universities, Institutes of Technology/Polytechnics, and Wānanga
New Zealand has eight universities that offer academic programmes, rather than vocational.

All New Zealand’s universities offer a broad range of subjects for undergraduate, Masters and Doctoral (PhD) degrees in commerce, science and the humanities. Some universities offer degrees in specialist fields - such as medicine, agriculture, engineering, etc. A number of universities have more than one campus, often located in different cities, and some have overseas programmes.
New Zealand also has 18 Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics (ITPs). They provide professional and vocational education and training ranging from introductory studies through to full degree programmes. Many ITPs also offer English language training and postgraduate study options, including up to Doctoral (PhD) level. Courses are more vocationally oriented, emphasising practical experience and application to work situations. A degree from one of these institutions has equal status with a university degree.
There are three Wānanga in Aotearoa New Zealand. These tertiary institutions offer teaching and learning environments that are based on Māori values and principles. Many offer qualifications in te reo Māori (Māori language), teaching, nursing, business, health, English language and Māori arts. Wānanga offer many undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including master’s and doctoral (PhD) level qualifications.
